If you are into MMORPG's you might want to check out Fiesta Online. I played it for maybe 10 mins then uninstalled it. I can't get into those type of games at all. Fiesta Online
Graboid Video makes it easy to access to the most extensive library of full length videos with over 150,000 videos online, and now you can try it free. Simply download Graboid Video and create your account. Im not sure how this is legal but I tried it out and worked fairly well for Quantum of Solace.
The world’s most deadly fighting force is back in all-new single-player, co-op and multiplayer combat in Delta Force: Xtreme 2 (DFX2), from action game developer and publisher NovaLogic Inc. Featuring over 40 content-rich multiplayer maps, DFX2 supports five of the most popular game types: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Team King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, and Flagball. Each detailed map will have something to entice all FPS fans, from large, vehicle heavy battlefields to small, concentrated engagement zones. Every element of the DFX2 gameplay is maximized for optimum intensity for FPS fans, from the enhanced ballistics to carefully coordinated teamwork is deadlier than individual firepower, and in DFX2, intelligence and creativity is rewarded as much as fast-twitch reflexes.Delta Force Xtreme 2 beta

There has been a bunch of stuff I didn't cover but here is a a couple things that came out recently you might of missed/overlooked. Neo Steam is a Fantasy Steampunk Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing (MMORPG) Game developed by JoyImpact and published by Atlus Online. It is free to play and you can sign up on there website here.
Hulu has released a bunch of labs projects on there website. The only one that really had interest to me was the desktop app. I thought it was a Adobe air app but after looking at the site again it doesn't seem to require the air framework to run. Hit up Hulu.com for the download. It has some pretty steep requirements but what app doesn't these days.
Joost Media Player is an Adobe Air application that gives users the ability to view Joost.com's extensive library of television shows, music and movies. The player has over 400 television shows, a library of over 10,000 music videos and a large selection of film. Go grab the latest release here. This is made by Paul Yanez that brought you the Joost on the web when it was only available through there standalone app, as well as the hulu desktop "mymediaplayer" desktop app. I would definately use this over the Joost website. It would however be nice to have a search feature.

I just wanted to do a post on how to use your ds as a remote for boxee. You will need a ds, a flash cart (r4ds or similiar), win2ds app, and of course boxee. Download and run win2ds app. You can set a password or the default would just be blank. Make sure you don't have a firewall blocking UDP traffic on port 8888 or allow it accordingly. Copy the file ds2win.nds to your ds flash cart to the root directory of the card. Fire up your ds and open up the ds2win app. Click the connect using wfc, be sure you have your wireless on the ds setup properly. Enter your IP address of the server machine you are trying to connect to and the proper password you set previously. You can then choose either virtual desktop where you would need to use the stylus and double tap on the various menus in boxee just like you were using a mouse. The other way would be to use gamepad mode. I had problems with this as the default doesn't seem to have an enter key set so I could navigate using XYAB keys but then had to tap on the screen to bring up the cursor and select the menus that way. What I did is go into the custom keys sections and set R trigger to Enter and Dpad to Up, Down, Left, Right and L trigger to Backspace.

Want to listen to sirius online through a standalone desktop application? Well then Sirius_ON might be what you want/need. The newest version doesn't require you to enter a captcha anymore when logging in which is cool. Some notable features include artist name and song title, even on the channels not currently being played so you can choose a channel based on whats playing live.
How about a gunslinging wild west game? Then Smokin' Guns might fit the bill. It was originally built as a quake 3 mod but has been released as a standalone game now. It has single and multi player options. I couldn't find a 1680x1050 resolution option which sucked.
Oh and last but not least is Windows 7 beta. But I am sure you know about that so that is all I will say.

Wow I have really been on an updating spree lately. What gives?
Jinni is quoted as "Watch what you wish for" movie searching website. This website is basically imdb on crack. It lets you search for movies based on a bunch of different criteria. It doesn't allow to buy the movie or rent it or anything like that which is kind of dumb.
"Kwyno is all about being able to do what you do on the web, regardless of where you are with short little 'commands'. Check the news, see what your friends are up to, find a restaurant to meet with your friends, search the web for a recipe you don't quite remember. The possibilities are endless, and it all starts here".
Looking for something a little more powerful than the built in OSX search/launcher. Maybe you should check out LaunchBar 5.
Ever wanted a cheap multi touch solution by just using an old webcam you have laying arround? Microsoft Office Labs has an Open Source application called Touchless. Hmm Microsoft and Open Source in the same sentence, I don't believe that crap. I tried it out though and its next to useless. Maybe it will get better, who knows.

I made a Boxee logo in Pixelblocks . The first one was low pixels so I redid it with higher resolution.

Happy New Year, and all that jazz. The good folks over at boxee have 2 spots open to go to CES and help promote boxee at their booth. I made a submission.

I haven't really been posting much lately. I was compiling some stuff for a podcast but I am too lazy to record one. I'll just put some links to stuff in this post.
Do you ever feel the need to broadcast video games you are playing, music, videos, or just your desktop to show others how to do something? Well then you should check out dyyno broadcaster. Its free but requires the other user to download a firefox plugin to be able to see the broadcast, which is kind of a pain for people that don't know what they are doing. The broadcaster downloads the small app then drags the icon to the window they wish to broadcast. It has options such as pausing the broadcast, muting the sound, as well as copy the link to the broadcast so that you can share it with others. I used it to placeshift a football game to my brother in another state. It doesn't work as well as him just connecting to my slingbox directly, but might be nice for people sans a slingbox.
" The Elisa team is happy to announce the release of Elisa Media Center 0.5.20, code-named " Paranoid Android".
Opera Browser version 10 alpha has come out and let me tell you the little I've used it its super snappy and fast.
FyreTV is shipping 13 button replacement remote control. Word has it that they will be replacing the 40 button remote with a much simpler 13 button remote. This will remove some of the lesser used buttons or possibley removing some of the upcoming features, who knows?
"FushionFall, the highly-ambitious Cartoon Network MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game is entering its second Beta test this weekend, and cartoonatics of all ages are scrambling for test spots."

"Project Powder is a fun and free snowboard racing game from Outspark. Race, battle, and gather coins individually or as a team in this high-paced free game." It can also be used as a server to stream in unicast or multicast in IPv4 or IPv6 on a high-bandwidth network." VLC .9 has been released with a revamped ui.

At VooEasy, you can have your own space where you can ask/answer questions, write simple blogs (using cool DataPlug features), jot down daily musings, join groups, assemble "teams" (trust us, it's cool) and even host a small online garage sale anytime you want.
